Who it is for

Analysts, compliance professionals, law firms, security teams and others working with multiple information sources.

In practice

Connect AI assistance with open-source intelligence (OSINT), material assessment and an understanding of digital traces. Conclusions remain the analyst’s responsibility; a generated answer is not evidence in itself.

Entry requirements

The ability to read and compare sources and basic AI competence or equivalent preparation. Programming is not required at Level I.

Levels II and III require the preceding level’s competencies or verified equivalent experience. Preparation is agreed before enrolment. Higher levels introduce technical elements; tool requirements are confirmed in advance.

Three development levels

Level I / Foundation

AI-Assisted Information Analysis

The ability to read and compare sources and basic AI competence or equivalent preparation. Programming is not required at Level I.

After this level, you can

Organise material while retaining source references.
Separate source content from model and analyst inferences.
Identify contradictions and information needing further confirmation.

Competency scope

Search support, document analysis and extracting information about people, organisations and places.
Organising data, timelines and relationship analysis.
Comparing sources and detecting contradictions.
Summarising material and developing hypotheses to test.
Distinguishing information, findings, conclusions and hypotheses.
Assessing source material and checking AI errors.

Competency assessment

A knowledge test and a short analysis of supplied material, with a justified conclusion.

NEXT RECOMMENDED COMPETENCY

Level II / Professional

AI and OSINT

Competence at the preceding level of this track or equivalent experience, confirmed before participation.

After this level, you can

Connect material from different sources without conflating entities.
Assess information reliability independently of the fluency of AI output.
Present hypotheses, assessment grounds and remaining gaps.

Competency scope

AI within the intelligence cycle and search across lawfully accessible open sources.
Connecting information about the same entities while recognising coincidental similarities.
Multiple sources, multilingual material and large document collections.
Supporting analysis of images, audio, video and location information, with recognition limits.
Relationships, hypothesis testing, provenance and source reliability.
Mandatory human verification and explicit reporting of unresolved issues.

Competency assessment

A test, case study and multisource analysis with a report and discussion of limitations. Detailed methodology is not published.

Level III / Advanced

Advanced AI-Assisted Information Analysis

Competence at the preceding level of this track or equivalent experience, confirmed before participation.

After this level, you can

Design a process that preserves provenance and analytical decisions.
Justify confidence levels and test alternative explanations.
Produce a report whose findings can be traced to their supporting material.

Competency scope

Process design: finding → entity → claim → conclusion → hypothesis. Preserve the distinction between these categories.
Entity identification and knowledge graphs: structured representations of information units and their relationships.
Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over controlled datasets and multistage analysis assisted by agents.
Material provenance, confidence levels, information comparison and contradictions.
Hypothesis testing and mandatory analyst review.
Evidence-based reporting, limits to inference and a reproducible analytical process.

Competency assessment

A knowledge check, complex case and reproducible analysis project with a report defence. Public descriptions do not disclose operational methods.

ProSentinel — Certified AI Analyst — Advanced

Certification rules

ProSentinel — AI-Assisted Information Analysis Specialist

Specialist certification requires successful assessments at all three levels of the track and a current Level III credential. Passing a higher level does not automatically award lower-level credentials.

The knowledge test requires at least 80%. Practical assessment requires all specified competencies; breaches of safety or independent-work rules prevent a pass. Attendance alone does not confer certification.

Certification is valid for 36 months. Renew a level through a current assessment of its competencies; renew a specialisation through a Level III assessment covering the whole track. Academy rules on retakes, appeals and an independent certification decision apply.

This is ProSentinel Academy’s own competency certification system. It is not a state or regulated qualification, an academic degree or an ISO certificate.
