ProSentinel Academy

Capabilitiesthat work together.

Information, people, the digital environment and operational security. Seven programmes, each with three levels, form a development system for individuals and teams.

Public programmes for businesses, institutions, teams, specialists and individuals. The programme and entry level depend on its intended audience, your role and the stated prerequisites.

01 / Competency map

Different disciplines. A shared assessment.

The domains show how capabilities complement one another. Analysis connects the system; entry requirements are defined separately for each level. Start with the area most relevant to your work.

  1. Entry point

    Information

Selecting sources and assessing information quality.

  2. Across all programmes

    Analysis

Verification, hypotheses and reasoned conclusions connect every programme.

  3. Specialist direction

    Human sources & behaviour

Information from people, credibility and recognising influence.

  4. Specialist direction

    Digital environment

    Understanding incidents and reconstructing events.

  5. Assessment context

    Threat environment

Assessing structures, relationships and threats to an organisation.

  6. Bringing assessments together

    Operational security

Protecting people and information, assessing exposure and preparing to act.

  7. Complementary area

    Practical readiness

Personal security and responsible behaviour, with optional firearms training.

02 / Programmes and levels

Deepen expertise. Broaden perspective.

Levels I–III develop independence within a discipline. The next recommended competency points to a direction that broadens your profile. A recommendation does not require you to complete the entire path.

  1. Level IUnderstanding and foundations
  2. Level IIConnecting and verifying
  3. Level IIIIndependent assessment

03 / Integrated Competency Path

From individual skills to shared capability.

The Integrated Competency Path is for individuals and organisations developing a broad profile: assessing information, people, digital events and threats, and preparing to act responsibly. We agree the scope and sequence after assessing your needs.

  1. Your starting point

We assess roles, experience and competency gaps. Equivalent skills developed outside the Academy are recognised.

  2. Information and two specialist directions

OSINT develops open-source research. HUMINT and social engineering develop an understanding of people; cybercrime and DFIR address digital events. These directions can progress in parallel.

  3. Threat context and protection

Organised crime analysis helps assess structures and relationships. OPSEC connects findings with the protection of people, information and planned activities.

  4. Competency integration

We connect perspectives, responsibility for assessments and the communication of limitations. The Lab can support work with complex material and team collaboration. Practical readiness is matched to an identified need.

ProSentinel Academy Certification System

Completion is one step. Demonstrating competence is the next.

Each of the 21 levels has a distinct assessment and certification. The final certification requires Level I–III assessments in the CORE programmes, current Level III certification in each and the Integrated Capstone Assessment. Certification is individual; a team development path does not replace personal assessment.

  1. Level certifications
  2. Programme competencies
  3. Integrated path
  4. Final certification

The development path can be tailored to your needs. Final certification requirements are defined and shared by all candidates.

ProSentinel Integrated

The profile you develop

  • Find information, assess its quality and connect sources.
  • Understand human sources, recognise influence and assess relationships.
  • Interpret digital traces and reconstruct events within the limits of the data.
  • Assess threats and exposure, protect information and explain decisions under uncertainty.
  • Develop preparation for work in higher-risk environments.

For individuals

Deepen your specialism and gradually broaden your understanding of other areas. Choose a single programme or an agreed development path.

For teams

Plan complementary capabilities and shared responsibilities. Team members can develop different specialisms and bring them together through collaborative work.

04 / Practical readiness

Security has a practical dimension.

Practical readiness complements threat assessment and operational security. It may include firearms training delivered by team members with instructor competence and the authorisations required to conduct these sessions.

The emphasis is on safety, responsibility, sound habits, control and conscious firearms handling. The scope reflects experience: from the foundations through skill development to reinforcing independent control.

This is an optional direction agreed around your needs, particularly in connection with OPSEC. It is not a requirement for other programmes or for the integrated path.

05 / Where to start

Start with your role.

Describe the tasks, participants’ experience and the change you want to achieve at work. We agree the scope and entry level before delivery. Levels II and III accept either the preceding level or equivalent competence.

Public descriptions explain goals, competencies and outcomes. We agree the detailed scope directly with the participant or organisation.
